L.A.S. Customs started as platform that encouraged S.T.E.M. learning. We used the early years of development to find fun ways to learn and educate. Children’s ride on vehicles afforded the opportunity to teach electrical wiring, colors, and also measurements. We started with running basic wiring for LED lights. +Red and -Black. Next we started running speaker wires for the stereo. Wiire without stripe is + while wire with stripe is -. We have learned over the years the best way to teach each of our children is to have active hands on participation. As a parent we handled all power tools, but also showed our children the proper way to use them. They learned the science of wiring, wrapping, and installing new parts on each custom vehicle .
